Increasing Concern about Loan Losses at the FHA

We at the FHA back in March, and those concerns are becoming more tangible.  The Cato Institute links to a WSJ article describing the possibility of another taxpayer bailout to address the mortgage meltdown.  Why are there three government agencies guaranteeing mortgage loans?

The FHA, Fannie and Freddie need to be consolidated and get back to their original mission of providing liquidity to the market instead of homes to people that can”t afford them.
