improbableNassim Nicholas Taub, the author of The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable has an interesting column in the Financial Times today titled “Ten Principles for a Black Swan-proof world.  The lure of asset bubbles fueled by excessive leverage seems to be hardwired in humans, so the lessons learned in this crisis will hopefully mitigate the harm to the entire financial system when the next Black Swan event occurs.

I also recommend Jamie Dimon’s Letter to Shareholders from the recently released JP Morgan Annual Report.  It’s fairly long, but you can skim some of the details about JP Morgan and focus on the parts about the overall crisis and the response to it.  I saw the link at Bankstocks.com.
